Directed by radiation oncologists, this robotically controlled device targets tumors with incredible precision, minimizing damage to healthy tissues. Since 1990, the Charles A. Main Pediatric Cancer Survivor Scholarship program has awarded nearly $1 million in financial assistance to more than 100 students seeking to further their education. Letters are sent to eligible patients each January with information about how to apply. All past or present pediatric cancer patients treated at Corewell Health Children’s at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital are eligible.
