About EpicCare Link
EpicCare Link (ECL) is Epic's free web-based application for connecting Corewell Health to community practices. Through ECL, users receive secure access to patient information in Corewell Health’s Epic data repository.
This online portal provides secure, convenient access to patient information through your browser when and where you need it. It also provides:
- A more transparent flow of information between physicians
- An easier way for external physicians and staff to place referrals and orders to radiology, lab, and Corewell Health specialists
- Access for physicians to review a patient's chart
Frequently asked questions
Who is eligible for EpicCare Link?
To be considered eligible, accounts requesting access must meet all the following criteria:
- Be a HIPAA covered entity with a supervising physician
- Have a signed Corewell Health Information Partnering Agreement (CHIPA) on file
- Assign an administrator to the account to manage users and be the point of contact
