Visiting learners

Medical students interested in completing a clinical rotation must apply through the Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) program. All available rotation offerings and application timelines are published in VSLO. The Internal Medicine Residency Program does not offer observorships, off cycle positions, or opportunities for international rotators. Only fourth-year medical students enrolled at an LCME or AOA accredited medical school are eligible to apply for visiting student rotations through VSLO.

To ensure equitable review and consistent communication, the website and VSLO serve as the primary source of information regarding eligibility and availability. Applicants should not contact the residency program managers, directors or staff regarding rotation opportunities; return correspondence may not be provided.
