Curriculum

The residents are provided opportunities to participate and manage the following procedures and practices in order to meet ACGME minimum graduate numbers:

  • Spontaneous deliveries
  • Cesarean deliveries
  • Operative vaginal deliveries
  • Obstetric ultrasound
  • Abdominal hysterectomy
  • Vaginal hysterectomy
  • Laparoscopic hysterectomy
  • Minimally Invasive Hysterectomy
  • Total Hysterectomy
  • Incontinence and pelvic floor
  • Cystoscopy
  • Laparoscopy
  • Operative Hysteroscopy
  • Abortion
  • Transvaginal ultrasound
  • Surgery for invasive cancer

Residents will rotate with Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Intensive Care Units, Neonatal Intensive Care Units, Ultrasound/Sonography, Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Maternal Fetal Medicine, Gynecologic Oncology, and Family Planning throughout the four-year ACGME-accredited program.
