Clinical site locations

Over the course of five years, residents are exposed to a variety of practice settings, ranging from a large, tertiary care, academic center at the Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital campus, to a community hospital at Corewell Health Hospital, Taylor. In total, residents will spend 4.5 years at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital and 6 months at Corewell Taylor Hospital. Although there is no shortage of surgical volume between these two hospitals, residents sometimes elect to travel to Corewell Health Troy Hospital or the Ambulatory Surgical Center to operate with different attendings and further enhance their surgical experience.

Ambulatory Surgery Centers and Private Clinics

Also available to residents is the opportunity to participate in the many private clinics and ambulatory surgical centers.  These are staffed by our orthopaedic surgeons who provide a diverse experience of practice settings and case diversity.
