Meet Our Core Clinical Faculty

The department's attending staff consists of board-certified orthopedic surgeons. Most members are fellowship trained. All orthopedic sub-specialties are represented in the department. Many members of this department were previously residents in this program. Some pursued postgraduate fellowship training elsewhere and returned to practice at Corewell Health.

Strengths of this program lie in the diverse nature of the faculty with fellowship trained staff encompassing all the subspecialties of orthopedic surgery including: hand, adult reconstruction, sports medicine, trauma, spine, foot/ankle, pediatric and musculoskeletal oncology. This exposes the residents to all facets of orthopedics from the basic to the most complex diagnostic and treatment problems.
