Welcome to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital. Our program offers a rich and diverse clinical educational experience that covers the full range of women’s health care. Teamwork, intellectual curiosity, compassion, and academic excellence are valued highly in this learning community.
The mission of our Ob/Gyn Residency Program is to provide a structured educational environment that combines structured learning opportunities and graduated clinical responsibilities in order to promote intellectual growth and increasing autonomy as a gynecologic surgeon, as an obstetrician, and as an ambulatory provider. The ultimate goal is to train physician leaders who will provide innovative, compassionate, and comprehensive evidence based healthcare for women by:
- caring for a diverse population of patients in a variety of practice settings
- collaborating across clinical disciplines
- evaluating the medical literature and applying medical evidence to clinical care
