Our pediatric allergy and immunology specialists in Southeast Michigan care for infants, children, and adolescents with allergies, asthma, and immune system disorders.
Healthy immune systems are how children’s bodies recognize and eliminate germs and other substances that don’t belong. But if your child has a problem with their immune system, it may not be strong enough to protect them from infections. Or they may develop allergies that cause their immune system to identify substances that should be harmless (like pollen, food, or pet fur) as serious threats.
If your child is struggling to feel their best due to allergies or an immune disorder, we can help. Our specialists offer state-of-the-art treatment and are dedicated to helping them stay strong, active, and healthy.
We want to make sure your child’s visit is a positive experience, no matter their age or developmental level. We are dedicated to providing compassionate care that meets their medical and emotional needs in a calm and welcoming space.
Our allergy and immunology physicians work alongside pediatricians and experts in dermatology, digestive health, and other medical specialties. No matter your child’s needs, we ensure seamless, coordinated care between all members of their medical team.
Every child is unique. Our treatment plans are personalized to your child’s age, stage of development, lifestyle, family goals, and other important factors. The goal is not just to help manage their condition, but to help them live their best possible lives.

Examples include biologics that treat severe asthma, as well as immunoglobulin replacement therapy, which supplies the body with antibodies needed to fight infections.
This therapy temporarily trains a child’s immune system to tolerate a drug they are allergic to, by starting with small doses that gradually increase over time. It may be necessary if the drug is needed to treat another condition they have.
Injecting a small dose of an allergen over a long period of time can desensitize the body to that allergen. This can be an effective way to significantly reduce symptoms of seasonal and environmental allergies.
Breathing tests that measure lung function. They may be used to diagnose asthma.
