President, Chief Operating Officer, Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan

Natalie Baggio, RN, DNP, MBA, BSN, is the president, chief nursing executive and chief operating officer at Corewell Health in Southwest Michigan. She leads care delivery for three hospitals, 53 outpatient locations, telehealth initiatives and approximately 500 independent, affiliated and employed physicians in Southwest Michigan.

With more than 15 years of experience in health care leadership, she has extensive knowledge of operations management, strategic planning and team development. She is passionate about expanding and diversifying the health care workforce and has created pipeline programs focused on supporting minority representation in nursing.

Beginning in 2017, Natalie served as chief nursing executive and senior vice president, Clinical Care Services at Corewell Health South. Most recently, she took on the role as chief operating officer. Prior to joining Corewell Health, Natalie served in numerous leadership roles at Mercy Health South in Missouri. She served as director of Nursing & Clinical Operations in which she led all nursing departments within the organization and was responsible for the fiscal and operational success of all staffing departments.

Natalie holds multiple degrees including a Bachelor of Science in organizational leadership from Greenville College in Illinois; a Master of Business Administration degree from Webster University in Missouri; a Bachelor of Science in nursing degree from Chamberlain University in Illinois; and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from Baylor University in Texas.
