Our Maternal Infant Health Program offers personalized care to families during pregnancy, after delivery, and through their infant’s first 18 months of life.

From bump to baby, care at every step

Our team of nurses, care managers, lactation counselors, and community health workers listen to your concerns and connect you with the resources you need. Our goal is to improve the health of pregnant women and their families before, during, and after childbirth by:

  • Providing ongoing support to families to ensure their needs are met with evidence-based home visiting programs and community-based taskforces
  • Educating expectant families on breastfeeding, childbirth, and self-advocacy; understanding your rights; and warning signs to be aware of during pregnancy so you know when to seek help
  • Teaching the necessary skills to navigate pregnancy and childbirth challenges
  • And more

“They are very resilient, resourceful, and sacrifice so much of themselves to see their family succeed. They make it an obligation to be the best parent they can be for their children. I enjoy visiting with families to see their growth, self-sacrifice, determination and courage – it inspires me to continue supporting our moms.”

“Resiliency. Many of the moms I work with have had some sort of an adverse childhood experience, but they are motivated and want to do better for themselves and their children. Knowing that, my role as their care manager gives me an opportunity to mentor, encourage, educate, validate, and build resiliency in their lives.”

"Their perseverance and love for their children. I'm always amazed at how clients despite having undergone childhood trauma, lack of resources, or lack of a social support system continue to have the will to keep fighting for their children and truly love their children.”

"Many of the women I work with have experienced hardship, but raise up from their challenges to love and nurture their children, and also importantly, raise up to believe in themselves. As a mom of 3 myself, I love connecting with the women and families I work with by exchanging stories, advocating for their health, and reminding them how amazing they are. Parenthood comes with many challenges and I am honored that my clients let me be a part of their journey for a healthy pregnancy and baby."
