Hobbies: I love food and new places, so I try to travel somewhere every time I take a vacation day. The Grand Rapids restaurant scene is surprisingly robust for a small city and there are endless new spots to discover. There are also lots of trails and lakes nearby that I enjoy taking my dog to, and in the summer, we love going sailing on Lake Michigan.

The DR and IR programs at Corewell Health in West Michigan are incredible. The case volume, diversity, and pathology are something that really sets us apart as a residency program and will prepare you for life as an attending.
Clinical Interests: Everything DR and IR. I really do love this field of medicine. The amount of information to learn is never ending, which makes every day interesting.
Hobbies: I love the outdoors. I am always doing something outside when I am not in the hospital. My fiancé and I bought a house on 13 acres about 20 minutes north of Grand Rapids, so we spend a lot of our time tending to the property. When I have time I enjoy fishing, hiking, camping, and many other outdoor activities.
