Hometown: Lakeport, California

Medical school: Pacific Northwest University

Why did you choose Corewell Health for your residency/fellowship? I was a resident at Corewell Health Lakeland and wanted to stay in a system that I knew as I furthered my training. The palliative team was so kind during my virtual interview and they have been even better to work with!

What are your clinical interests? Complex symptom and pain management. Empowering other providers to have goals of care discussions early and often.

Hobbies: I learned how to crochet after COVID-19 started and love making stuffed animals for my nieces and nephews. Western Michigan has great spots for hiking with my dog and cross-country skiing!

Why did you choose Corewell Health for your residency/fellowship? I chose Corewell Health HPM for my fellowship because of their culture of support and focus on fellow education. They have been my role models for showing empathy, having difficult conversations, and practicing self-care in what can be emotionally taxing work.

What are your clinical interests? My clinical interests include care and advocacy for children with complex medical needs, multidisciplinary medical care, and medical education and mentorship.

Hobbies: I enjoy a variety of creative hobbies - drawing, painting, knitting/crocheting, and sculpture - as well as cultivating houseplants. I also love to dance and rock climb.
