Our mission

To train well-rounded, contextually minded Family Medicine physicians in providing full spectrum primary care to all populations, especially those who are vulnerable or under served.

To educate physicians in the discipline of Family Medicine at the highest level of competence by fostering an environment that is both academic and nurturing to all learners, faculty, staff and patients.

To produce physicians who can maintain personal and job satisfaction while advocating for productive systemic innovations in the changing healthcare landscape.

To train compassionate physicians to better serve their patients by understanding the social and community context that affects their patients’ health outcomes and needs.
