Program at a glance
The Ophthalmology Residency offers a fully accredited, three-year program in Ophthalmology leading to eligibility for certification by the AOBOO-HNS. The residency program at Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is academically affiliated with:
- Michigan State University (MSU)
- Corewell Health Taylor Hospital
- Children’s Hospital Medical Center of Akron (CHMCA)
Two positions are offered each year through San Francisco Match.
- each position is linked to the Corewell Health Hospital Transitional Year internship in a joint program
- interviews are required for consideration for admission to the residency in a joint program
- interviews are offered to eligible candidates annually in November/December in a joint program
