The research requirement for all categorical internal medicine residents includes:
Training is available to all Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital Internal Medicine residents to develop expertise in human subject research. A comprehensive biostatistics course is also provided for internal medicine residents who select a research rotation. A comprehensive research curriculum including self-instruction modules is provided. The program’s resident research committee, chaired by the associate program director for resident research, tracks resident progress and assists residents seeking a research mentor.
