About Our Program

Internal Medicine interns rotate through general internal medicine services and several sub-specialty services. Majority of candidates their Internal Medicine training and become board eligible in three years. Approximately 5 months are set aside for elective rotations. During the 2nd and 3rd years, residents complete a rotation in all required medical sub-specialties with additional with additional months in the critical care complex rotation.

Fellowships following internal medicine training include:

  • Cardiology
  • Gastroenterology
  • Nephrology
  • Joint pulm/critical care fellowship with Royal Oak
