About

The fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine maintains the overall goal of providing comprehensive training in all aspects of sports medicine. There will be additional focus on shoulder reconstruction, cartilage preservation/restoration procedures, and multi-ligamentous knee reconstruction.

Goals

  • Provide the educational environment for individualized training in operative and non-surgical treatment of athletic injuries and degenerative conditions of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and foot/ankle
  • Educate each fellow to fully develop research interests in both clinical and laboratory settings
  • Develop fellow teaching skills for education of residents and medical students
