Learn breastfeeding basics from a certified lactation specialist. This class will cover the benefits of breastfeeding, positioning/latch, hunger signs, how to tell if your baby is getting enough to eat, and more. You’ll also get tips on pumping and breast milk storage.
The fee for this class is $80. We will bill your insurance using the following diagnosis code: Z39.1 and procedure code: S9443.
Insurance coverage for this class varies by plan. Some insurance providers cover the full cost, while others may provide partial coverage or no coverage at all. Before registering for a class, we strongly encourage you to contact your insurance provider and provide the diagnosis and procedure codes listed above to confirm your specific benefits and coverage.
If your insurance does not cover the full cost of the class, any remaining balance will be your responsibility and will be billed directly to you.
Breastfeeding support group is free, no registration is required, and you can come and go as you please. Facilitated by one or two trained lactation team members, we welcome you at any stage of your baby’s feeding journey. You can learn to troubleshoot breastfeeding and latch concerns, check your baby’s weight before and after feeding, make sure your pump is working as efficiently as possible, or simply to be in community with other moms and babies. We are here to equip and empower you with the education and support to reach your unique goals.
