Resident and student wellness

At Corewell Health Lakeland, we support our residents, physicians, advanced practice providers and students by caring for their whole-person wellness. Our graduate medical education programs foster a culture of balance, resilience, and professional fulfillment - backed by systemwide initiatives that prioritize well-being across all clinical teams.

BeWell & BeWellMed: System-wide wellness support

This commitment is brought to life through two signature wellness programs - BeWellMed and BeWell, designed to support both personal and professional well-being. These initiatives provide targeted resources, tools, and support systems that help every member of our organization feel supported, valued, and well.

BeWellMed

BeWellMed is tailored for residents, physicians and advanced practice providers. It follows the tenets that occupational well-being is shaped by workplace culture, individual factors and workplace efficiency. Programming addresses each of these areas and a designated GME liaison ensures residents’ needs are supported.
