Corewell Health Lakeland is dedicated to those wanting to further their education. Our Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Student Program helps place various types of APP students into clinical rotations and observations. We have placed hundreds of PA, NP, CRNA and CNM students with preceptors over the years. The APP Student Program boasts a 45% recruitment rate, meaning nearly half of the students who complete clinical rotations here, join the Corewell Health Lakeland team as APPs.

To ensure a smooth onboarding process, and adequate time to secure preceptors, it’s recommended to reach out 6-12 months before your anticipated rotation start date. Corewell Health Lakeland is dedicated to teaching. The implementation of the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Student Program has created a large and continuing demand for APP preceptors to teach our APP Students. There are numerous benefits to teaching APP students, your commitment to the program will continue to drive the success of our program now and for years to come.
