Graduation from a college of osteopathic medicine approved by the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) or a Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) approved school.
The following requirements and objectives represent levels of achievement in concepts, skills, and attitudes for residents:
The resident becomes certified as an ATLS provider and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) provider or advanced pediatric life support (APLS). Corewell Health Farmington Hills Hospital provides funding for these required courses.
Weekly educational program attendance is mandatory for all residents. Residents on out rotations who are unable to attend are excused from the rotation. See the accompanying information regarding the specifics of the various aspects of the educational program.
