What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am truly excited to pursue my sports orthopaedics fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan because it represents an outstanding opportunity to further develop my skills in managing athletic injuries and helping patients return to peak performance. I am particularly enthusiastic about training in a high-level, dynamic environment alongside experienced surgeons who are supportive, approachable, and genuinely invested in their trainees. Beyond the clinical experience, I am also very excited about living in Grand Rapids, which offers a great balance of vibrant city life and access to outdoor activities. Overall, I am looking forward to both the professional growth and personal experience that this fellowship will provide.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests focus on the management of sports-related injuries involving the knee, shoulder, and hip, with an emphasis on both operative and non-operative treatment. I am particularly interested in ligament injuries, tendon disorders, cartilage conditions, and joint preservation surgery. I am passionate about helping patients regain function, improve their quality of life, and safely return to sports and the activities they enjoy. I aim to develop a comprehensive, patient-centered approach that combines surgical excellence with a strong understanding of rehabilitation and performance.

Hobbies: Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time outdoors and staying active through activities such as hunting and horse riding, which allow me to disconnect and recharge. I also have a passion for traveling and experiencing different cultures, as it broadens my perspective and keeps me grounded. In addition, I enjoy drawing, which brings me a sense of serenity and balance. These activities help me stay active, maintain perspective, and bring a more human and empathetic approach to my work.
