Welcome to the Corewell Health Lakeland Emergency Medicine Residency Program. We are a three-year ACGME-accredited program. We pride ourselves on attracting intelligent, ambitious physicians who are dedicated to making a difference in their chosen profession and community. Our faculty has created a collegial, family-oriented atmosphere and utilizes innovative teaching methods to foster a vibrant learning environment. A key component of this dynamic setting is a high level of resident engagement and participation. Our main goal is to create Emergency Medicine physicians who have both confidence and competence to function in any hospital environment including community, inner-city, rural, or academic based. Although the journey may be challenging, the rewards and experiences will be invaluable. We invite you to join our dedicated, supportive faculty and residents who are eager to partner with you on this journey.
