Curriculum

Residents may choose from the standard curriculum as well as the optional obstetrics track, hospital medicine track, and integrative medicine track.

Residents rotate through a variety of inpatient and outpatient experiences. They work at Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital for five rotations and do the remainder of their rotations at Corewell Health Beaumont Troy Hospital, where the family medicine residents are the only residents at the hospital. Teaching within the hospital is aimed specifically to meet the training needs of our residents. Private specialists' offices also serve as training sites for our residents, and a night float system is in place for overnight coverage and learning.

Our residents also complete a practice management rotation to assist them in their job search and prepare them to be successful in future business operations.
