We can help when healing isn’t happening

We often take our bodies for granted, thinking that injuries will simply heal. But there are times when the body can’t recover right away or on its own. If this is the case for you, don’t ignore the problem. A wound can get infected and spread, which can be dangerous and even life-threatening. Our doctors are here to help before that happens.

When to seek care

You should get a referral from a doctor or come to us directly if:

  • A surgical site hasn’t healed in the expected time frame, or you have a sore that is getting worse.
  • You have a traumatic wound, a pressure ulcer or vascular ulcers.
  • A wound seems infected (hot to the touch, swollen or oozing).

If you suspect that something is wrong, and if your body isn’t healing naturally, don’t hesitate to reach out.
