When to seek care
You should get a referral from a doctor or come to us directly if:
- A surgical site hasn’t healed in the expected time frame, or you have a sore that is getting worse.
- You have a traumatic wound, a pressure ulcer or vascular ulcers.
- A wound seems infected (hot to the touch, swollen or oozing).
If you suspect that something is wrong, and if your body isn’t healing naturally, don’t hesitate to reach out.
