Accessible child and adolescent health care

Located in or near schools, Corewell Health School-Based Clinics make it easy for youth to access high-quality health care when they need it most. Our clinics are open year-round. We provide services to youth ages 5 to 21 in the community, regardless of insurance status.

How our clinics work

At Corewell Health, we understand that regular school attendance is closely tied to academic success and school connectedness.

Students can visit the health clinic during the school day and return to class without missing valuable instruction. Parents are always welcome to attend appointments in person. If that’s not possible, they can speak with the care team by phone.

Students are not seen without parent or guardian consent. If they need medication, we can send the prescription directly to a pharmacy.

No insurance? No problem!

Our clinics are grant-funded through the Michigan Department of Health & Human Services and supported by Corewell Health Foundation. We offer services regardless of insurance status or the ability to pay. We are happy to assist families and young adults in applying for Medicaid.
