200-hour Yoga Teacher Training: Foundations of Yoga in Healthcare

This 200-hour yoga teacher training program is designed for yoga lovers who would like to deepen their personal practice and/or acquire the skills to lead others in a safe and meaningful yoga practice. The curriculum includes anatomy and physiology, history and philosophy of yoga, yoga techniques, teaching methodology and professional development. 300-hour Advanced Yoga Teacher Training: Academic Yoga in Healthcare

This 300-hour advanced yoga teacher training program is designed for yogis who have completed a 200-hour yoga teacher training or equivalent and would like to go a step further in their education, to become an advanced yoga instructor and learn how yoga can be applied toward therapeutic goals.  This program is not only a complete RYS300 training program accredited with Yoga Alliance, it is also the first part of a 800-hour yoga therapy program accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists (IAYT). Graduates of this program can register with Yoga Alliance to obtain the RYT-500 credential and can apply to the 500-hour Clinical Yoga Therapy program to complete their yoga therapy education and become a certified yoga therapist. 500-hour Clinical Yoga Therapy: Academic Yoga in Healthcare

Complete yoga therapy education in hospital owned and operated program! This program is the final part of the 800-hour hospital-based yoga therapy program accredited by IAYT. Students of this program have already completed both a foundational yoga teacher training and a 300-hour advanced yoga therapy training. They are ready to apply the yoga therapy concepts learned in previous program in therapeutic encounters with hospital patients. Through this course, students learn advance skills for healthcare-based jobs:

  • Providing safe and effective evidence-based yoga intervention as part of the patient's treatment plan
  • Providing detailed and accurate documentation of clinical encounters
  • Communicating effectively with other clinicians as part of an integrated healthcare team.
