Free, virtual group programs

Corewell Health offers health programs accessible from the comfort of your home. These group sessions are a free, expert-led resource to support healthy lifestyle changes for individuals or families.

Family kitchen

This class is for families with kids ages 7-17 who wish to learn hands-on cooking skills and nutrition education with their family. The convenient virtual format includes guidance from a chef and a member of our registered dietitian team.

Lifestyle change meet-ups

This free, virtual meet-up is led by a health coach and connects current Lifestyle Medicine patients to share goals, experiences, tips, and encouragement. This group meets for one hour every two weeks.

Meditation

Participants will be led through a meditation session, helping you focus your attention and become more aware of the present moment while being guided into a state of relaxation and mindfulness. This free session meets online Mondays and Wednesdays.

Tobacco and nicotine treatment program

If you smoke, vape, or chew, our variety of tobacco and nicotine treatment options are designed to support you. Whether you are curious to learn more about tobacco and nicotine, are ready to quit, or want support after quitting, we have a class for you.

Classes are led by a tobacco treatment specialist. You will find a safe, non-judgmental space to explore your relationship with tobacco and the support you need to quit when you are ready. It’s free and the class lasts about a month.

Patients receive information about tobacco and nicotine, quit strategies, stress management techniques, and medications—all with support and no pressure to quit.

Yoga therapy

Sessions focus on breathwork, gentle movement, meditation, and comfort that can be practiced seated, standing, or lying down. Learn simple techniques that are safe for all. This free, one-hour class meets virtually on Tuesdays starting at 6 pm.
