Event description

The Beaver Creek Cardiovascular Conference will provide a comprehensive review of the latest advances, current trends, and new innovative therapies for cardiovascular disease, delivered by national leaders in the field. Interact with faculty during case-based sessions that address challenges in the diagnosis and management of common cardiovascular conditions such as atrial fibrillation, coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, and valve disease. The course will also feature a case-based fellows program and a focus session on innovations in cardiovascular care.

Objectives

  • Discuss new insights in the pathophysiology and management of obesity
  • Describe emerging therapies for uncontrolled hypertension
  • Review the role of LVAD therapy in advanced heart failure
  • Describe which drugs to use in patients with ATTR amyloid
  • Discuss multimodality assessment of MINOCA
  • Describe the use of artificial intelligence in cardiovascular medicine
  • Discuss the role of pulsed-field ablation in arrhythmia
  • Describe the use of hormone replacement therapy in patients with cardiovascular disease

This event is intended for physicians and advanced practice providers, nurses, residents, fellows, medical students, and health professionals practicing in the fields of cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, vascular surgery, primary care, and urgent and emergency care.
