There are a few things that excite me about the Vascular Surgery residency here at Corewell Health in West Michigan! The first is both the quality and quantity of training experiences. The surgical case volume, as well as the complexity of cases, offer an incredible training experience. Additionally, the training atmosphere is outstanding. The faculty and residents have created a supportive, friendly, and welcoming environment. I am also excited about exploring all that Grand Rapids has to offer!

Clinical interests: A few of my clinical interests include peripheral vascular interventions, limb salvage, and complex endovascular aortic repairs. I find the challenge of complex endovascular aortic repair an interesting area because of the technical complexity involved, and the creativity and problem-solving that sometimes need to happen. Additionally, limb salvage is one of my interests because of the wide variety of available options, as well as the challenge of treating chronic and complex disease. Another interest of mine is increasing vascular surgery services to rural and underserved populations.

Hobbies: A few of my hobbies include finding new local restaurants, hiking, cooking, spending time with family and friends, and watching movies.
