What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? Two key factors really popped out during my interview at Corewell Health in West Michigan. First off, the surgical volume of both open and endovascular cases was outstanding and in the top tier of programs, which is a key component of vascular surgical training. Secondly, the comradery amongst the residents, the love of teaching from the attendings, and the support from the hospital underlined that Corewell Health in West Michigan could provide not only great surgical training, but that I could have a great time being trained.
Clinical interests: My clinical interests are limb salvage, aortic aneurysmal disease, endovascular surgery, and investigating new ways to decrease rates of surgical site infections in vascular surgery.
Hobbies: With my downtime I enjoy spending time with my wife and our dog, playing strategy games and golfing. I also grew up playing hockey so enjoy any opportunity I have to play hockey or watch then NHL.
