What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I am so excited to move to Grand Rapids for residency training! Aside from the activities West Michigan offers, I am looking forward to training at Corewell Health in West Michigan and serving the surrounding community. Corewell's emphasis on patient well-being, diverse learning opportunities, and culture that facilitates my personal growth and development are among the reasons I chose to start my residency experience here.

Clinical interests: I chose to pursue Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) because of its focus on function and quality of life. My clinical interests include pediatric rehabilitation, limb differences, neurorehabilitation, and adaptive sports.

Hobbies: Outside of work, I can be found at the thrift store, reading books and sipping lavender lattes in local coffee shops, or playing on the nearest volleyball and pickleball courts. I'm looking forward to West Michigan beach days and trying new restaurants with my husband while in GR!

Having grown up in West Michigan and attended medical school in Grand Rapids, I am excited to continue building upon my connections with the exceptional people at Corewell Health Grand Rapids. I am also eager to form new relationships with colleagues and mentors during my training. I look forward to the opportunity to expand my knowledge and skills in diagnostic radiology within a community I know and value.

Clinical interests: I am currently interested in multiple subspecialties within diagnostic radiology.  I am excited to explore the breadth of this dynamic field and gain more experience in various areas to refine my focus throughout my training.

Hobbies: In my free time, I enjoy spending quality moments with my family. I also love experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, knitting cozy projects, and exploring the natural beauty of West Michigan through hiking.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? Having grown up in Southwest Michigan, I'm excited to return and have the opportunity to provide care in a familiar environment, and nothing beats Michigan weather in the summer.

Clinical interests: As a future radiation oncologist, I am always drawn to the care of cancer patients. Practicing medicine is more than just treating a disease, and in cancer care, we have the opportunity to treat a whole patient, from labs and testing to social support and survivorship. I try to ensure my interest in caring for the whole person is maintained across the various specialties I'll be a part of during my transitional year.

Hobbies: I relax by cooking as often as possible, and playing sports like volleyball with my friends.

During my rotation with Corewell Health in West Michigan as a medical student, I developed a deep appreciation for the compassionate care provided to the residents, the diverse range of conditions treated, and the exceptional quality of resident education. I am eager to continue learning from the residents and attending physicians who have already played a significant role in shaping my medical education.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests span several areas within physical medicine and rehabilitation, including spinal cord injury, interventional spine, and sports medicine.

Hobbies: I've always had a strong appreciation for the performing arts and enjoy playing the saxophone, as well as acting on both stage and screen. I also love basketball and football both as a player and a fan.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to serve the community that shaped my early years and begin my journey as a physician at a place like Corewell Health in West Michigan.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests include radiation and global oncology, quality of life, and survivorship in historically underserved communities. I hope to address disparities in cancer care through culturally responsive patient education and technology interventions.

Hobbies: When I'm not in the hospital, I recharge by traveling, lifting, spending time with my people, and storytelling through video/photography and dance.

I'm also really looking forward to exploring the beautiful West Michigan area and serving the community.  

Clinical interests: My interest in Diagnostic Radiology, particularly in body imaging and neuroradiology. Ultimately, I'd love to pursue one of these subspecialties, with a focus on how I can contribute to improving access to healthcare through my work.

Hobbies: I love watching movies, learning about history, and spending time outdoors on long walks. I also unwind by playing video games, tackling Lego sets or puzzles, and keeping up with cricket.
