What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am excited to put into practice everything that I have learned during medical school, continuing to learn and grow to become the best physician that I can be. I'm also looking forward to be moving to Grand Rapids and exploring the west side of the state!

Clinical interests: Following my transitional year, I will be starting my residency in diagnostic radiology.

Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy knitting, spending time outdoors, blogging, learning about history, and playing piano and guitar.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I'm very excited to stay in Grand Rapids for another year! I'm grateful to be able to serve the community that I grew up in. I love all that West Michigan has to offer. You're a short drive to Lake Michigan and there's plenty of great food options. I'm eager to build new relationships with others and develop a strong knowledge base.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests are broad within physical medicine & rehabilitation, but I'm very interested in sports medicine and pediatric rehabilitation.

Hobbies: I enjoy long-distance running, playing basketball, completing puzzles, and spending time with my mini labradoodle.

Hometown: Eau Claire, WI

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am excited to continue my medical training in Michigan, where I attended medical school, and to begin residency at Corewell Health in West Michigan. Corewell offers the opportunity to train in a large, high-acuity hospital system with broad clinical exposure and many areas of expertise, which is exactly what I am looking for during my transitional year. I am also grateful for the chance to stay relatively close to home and join my wife at Corewell Health as we begin this next chapter for our family.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests include oncodermatology, melanoma, immunologically mediated skin disease, immunotherapy, and complex medical dermatology. I am especially interested in how advances in immunology and cancer therapy can be translated into practical, patient-centered care for people with complex skin disease.

Hobbies: Outside of medicine, I enjoy playing basketball, hiking, camping, cooking, and spending time with my wife, our son, and our dog, Watson. I especially enjoy being outdoors, trying new recipes, and finding ways to stay active with family and friends.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am excited about the residency at Corewell Health because of its strong emphasis on patient-centered care, supportive teaching environment, and diverse clinical exposure. I value the opportunity to learn in a collaborative, academically driven setting that promotes resident growth and mentorship.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests are in physical medicine and rehabilitation and sports medicine. I am interested in helping patients recover function, improve mobility, and return to daily activities after injury or illness. I also enjoy focusing on musculoskeletal care, rehabilitation, and preventive strategies to improve long-term physical well-being.

Hobbies: My hobbies include playing sports such as soccer, cricket, and basketball. I enjoy staying active and participating in team sports, which help me build teamwork and leadership skills. I also enjoy traveling and exploring new places, as it allows me to experience different cultures and perspectives.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I am excited to have the chance to explore Grand Rapids and to live in a new part of the country. I also appreciate the volume and diversity of cases we are able to see as residents across multiple hospitals.  

Clinical interests: I am currently interested in musculoskeletal and neuroradiology

Hobbies: I grew up playing tennis and was a coach for 10 years prior to starting medical school. I also enjoy playing other racket sports such as pickleball and padel. In my free time I enjoy working out at the gym and running as well as playing guitar and piano.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? What excites me about training at Corewell Health is the opportunity to live and learn in Grand Rapids, a city that offers a great balance of professional growth and quality of life. At the same time, I’m drawn to the high quality of care and strong clinical training environment at Corewell Health. The combination of a large, well-respected health system with a diverse patient population and a commitment to excellence in education makes it an ideal place to develop as a physician.

Clinical interests: My clinical interest center on restoring function, improving quality of life, and helping patients return to meaningful daily activity through comprehensive rehabilitative care. 

Hobbies: In my free time I enjoy playing golf and going to the gym. I also enjoy going out to restaurants with friends and am excited to see what new places Grand Rapids has to offer.

Medical school: King Edward Medical College, Lahore

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? I know it will sound cliché, but I would say, people! My interview experience was the best, and that really excited me to be a part of this program to learn from them and grow as a radiologist.

Clinical interests: I am interested in all things radiology. Seeing images and patterns in them really excites me, so I want to explore everything related to radiology and its role in diagnostics, as well as minimally invasive patient care.

Hobbies: I love reading books (fiction) and watching TV series (thrillers/medical drama). On days when I feel creative, I enjoy doing calligraphy, writing short stories, and cooking new recipes. One activity I can spend hours doing is map reading. My unfulfilled passion is mountaineering!
