What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I'm thrilled to begin my training at a high-volume, tertiary care center like Corewell Health in West Michigan. The opportunity to work alongside exceptional attendings and residents in a collaborative, high-acuity environment offers the ideal setting to challenge myself, refine my skills, and develop the clinical judgment essential for a strong ObGyn. I look forward to the fast-paced labor and delivery floor, gaining hands-on experience in gynecologic surgery/SIMS lab, and growing within a program that clearly values both clinical excellence and community. Most of all, I'm eager to become part of the Corewell Health family and contribute meaningfully to the care of its diverse patient population.

Clinical interests: My clinical interests include global health, medical education, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). I'm particularly drawn to how MIGS can improve patient outcomes and offer solutions where conventional surgical approaches may fall short. I'm strongly considering a fellowship in MIGS to further refine my skills and contribute to advancing the field through both patient care and teaching.

Hobbies: Outside the hospital, you'll usually find me covered in flour from baking something ambitious, tent camping in the woods, or wandering along a trout stream with a fly rod in hand. I love going to the movie theater (blue slushy and peanut M&Ms are a must), hunting for hidden treasures in antique shops, and soaking up the energy of a sunny afternoon at a baseball game. Whether it's quiet or loud, solo or social—I'm all about making the most of life beyond the scrubs.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I'm excited to come to Grand Rapids! After living my whole life in the western U.S., I look forward to settling into a new region. I can't wait to explore all the water in the area, visit farmers' markets, attend concerts and football games, and discover the hidden gems here in Michigan.

Clinical interests: Currently, I am interested in rural women's health and providing care for women during the perimenopausal and menopausal phases.

Hobbies: I love being outside! Mainly, that is in the form of running or evening strolls. I'm also passionate about skiing- whether alpine, Nordic, or slalom skiing on the lake. What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I am excited to complete my residency training at Corewell Health in West Michigan because of the emphasis on education, the sense of community, and the myriad of resources available to residents. I have always enjoyed medical student education, so I am ecstatic to continue being involved in teaching from Michigan State University and visiting medical students. I know that by the end of my training, I will be a confident and well-prepared OB/GYN for the West Michigan community, able to tackle any situation that comes my way.

Clinical interests: I am interested in medical student education. It is my favorite way to pay it forward after being supported through my own medical education and overcoming the difficulties that are unique to this career. I am also interested in community education and patient advocacy. Prevention can be the best medicine, however it is important to begin with education at the community level and continuing the conversation one-on-one with patients. I will work hard to stand up for all of my patients and tackle each medical problem as a team.

Hobbies: I enjoy the miles of beaches and hiking trails that West Michigan has to offer. My family and I try to find a new trail each week to explore. We also love trying new restaurants in Grand Rapids and attending free fitness activities hosted by the city. If I am not at work, you will find me out in the great nature that Michigan has to offer year-round!
