What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I'm thrilled to begin my training at a high-volume, tertiary care center like Corewell Health in West Michigan. The opportunity to work alongside exceptional attendings and residents in a collaborative, high-acuity environment offers the ideal setting to challenge myself, refine my skills, and develop the clinical judgment essential for a strong ObGyn. I look forward to the fast-paced labor and delivery floor, gaining hands-on experience in gynecologic surgery/SIMS lab, and growing within a program that clearly values both clinical excellence and community. Most of all, I'm eager to become part of the Corewell Health family and contribute meaningfully to the care of its diverse patient population.
Clinical interests: My clinical interests include global health, medical education, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery (MIGS). I'm particularly drawn to how MIGS can improve patient outcomes and offer solutions where conventional surgical approaches may fall short. I'm strongly considering a fellowship in MIGS to further refine my skills and contribute to advancing the field through both patient care and teaching.
Hobbies: Outside the hospital, you'll usually find me covered in flour from baking something ambitious, tent camping in the woods, or wandering along a trout stream with a fly rod in hand. I love going to the movie theater (blue slushy and peanut M&Ms are a must), hunting for hidden treasures in antique shops, and soaking up the energy of a sunny afternoon at a baseball game. Whether it's quiet or loud, solo or social—I'm all about making the most of life beyond the scrubs.
