What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? I developed an interest in cardiac surgery early in residency, and I have been looking forward to the  opportunity to have a positive impact in the community while treating heart disease. To achieve this goal, I found that Corewell Health with its outreach, clinical volume will provide me with the exposure and the skills needed to succeed in the field of cardiac surgery. I am looking forward to the new clinical horizon.  Personally, my family and I are excited to experience Grand Rapids and the state of Michigan as a whole.

Clinical interests: I am starting fellowship with an interest in heart failure, mechanical support and coronary artery disease. In the long term, I hope to pursue a career in global health.

Hobbies: I touch on the whole spectrum of pop culture, reading, TV and movies. I enjoy playing volleyball and soccer.
