What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? What excites me about training at Corewell Health in West Michigan is the opportunity to work at a renowned referral center with diverse, high-acuity cases. The program offers everything someone interested in pulmonary and critical care could ask for, from complex patient management to advanced procedures. I'm particularly drawn to the strong mentorship and collaborative environment, which are essential for my growth as a physician.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? When applying for the fellowship, Corewell Health in West Michigan stood out to me from the start. Culturally, on the day of my interview, I found the leadership very easy to talk to and the vibe felt very similar to my residency program, where I had a great experience. It felt like the perfect balance of professionalism and feeling like I could just be myself, which allowed us to grow into the best versions of ourselves. Academically, Corewell Health in West Michigan offers the full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care pathologies, which provides the opportunity to pursue all of our interests.

Clinical interests: I have always loved critical care and enjoy procedures in and outside of the ICU. While I love the excitement of critical care, I previously completed a transplant research fellowship in Madison, WI, and am excited about the lung transplant program. Outside of clinical practice, I love to teach and, in the future, I would like to be involved with teaching at a fellowship or residency.

Hobbies: Growing up in New England, I have been skiing almost as long as I've been walking. I like to travel and do a lot of adventure activities like zip lining, skydiving, parasailing, etc. I also love to bike and go hiking. At home, I like gardening, baking (especially bread), cooking, and training my two cats to do tricks.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? During my away elective as a resident, I was hugely impressed by the diversity in faculty, myriad of pathology, and emphasis on fellow education. The program offers comprehensive training in all areas of pulmonology and critical care including interventional pulmonology and lung transplant.

What are your clinical interests? I am particularly interested in medical education. I hope to work in an academic setting, teaching residents and fellows with my clinical time allotted between critical care, pulmonology, and sleep medicine.

Hobbies: My indoor hobbies include cooking and board games. when outdoors, I enjoy playing soccer and cricket.

What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health? A good fellowship teaches you all the things you need to know to be competent and successful. A great fellowship is a place where you feel at home while you do that. Grand Rapids is a great town and Corewell Health in West Michigan has already been a great place to learn and train. The support here has been incredible.

What are your clinical interests? I have a broad interest in pulmonary disease and critical care but particular interests in bronchoscopy and procedures. I love to teach and find ways to improve the systems that we have in place.

Hobbies: Michigan summers are great, but they're short, so I try to make the most of it by getting outside on my bike, golfing, or getting some photography in. I recently started renovating a century home which, admittedly, was a big bite to take.
