What excites you about your residency/fellowship at Corewell Health in West Michigan? When applying for the fellowship, Corewell Health in West Michigan stood out to me from the start. Culturally, on the day of my interview, I found the leadership very easy to talk to and the vibe felt very similar to my residency program, where I had a great experience. It felt like the perfect balance of professionalism and feeling like I could just be myself, which allowed us to grow into the best versions of ourselves. Academically, Corewell Health in West Michigan offers the full spectrum of pulmonary and critical care pathologies, which provides the opportunity to pursue all of our interests.
Clinical interests: I have always loved critical care and enjoy procedures in and outside of the ICU. While I love the excitement of critical care, I previously completed a transplant research fellowship in Madison, WI, and am excited about the lung transplant program. Outside of clinical practice, I love to teach and, in the future, I would like to be involved with teaching at a fellowship or residency.
Hobbies: Growing up in New England, I have been skiing almost as long as I've been walking. I like to travel and do a lot of adventure activities like zip lining, skydiving, parasailing, etc. I also love to bike and go hiking. At home, I like gardening, baking (especially bread), cooking, and training my two cats to do tricks.
