Scope of Service

The Division of Musculoskeletal Radiology provides a comprehensive, well-rounded educational environment for the training of fellows in the diagnosis of musculoskeletal disorders and in the performance of musculoskeletal radiology procedures. With seven faculty having fellowship training or extensive experience in musculoskeletal radiology, fellows will gain special expertise in the diagnosis of degenerative, traumatic, congenital, rheumatologic, oncologic, and metabolic disorders related to the musculoskeletal system. Fellows will also gain experience in all aspects of musculoskeletal radiology procedures from fluoroscopic joint injections to imaging guided bone and soft-tissue biopsies. The volume of cases and daily staff supervision is such that the musculoskeletal radiology fellows will develop excellent diagnostic and interventional procedure skills at the conclusion of their training.
