Endowments are the greatest gift the present can offer to the future. As investments that quite literally pay dividends for generations to come, they are the financial bedrock of world-class institutions. 

When you endow, you create a permanent legacy. You create a statement about your values and the causes that you feel passionate about. Through your endowment, generations will remember you, what you cared about, and what you stood for. 

Endowments at Corewell Health Hospitals and Helen DeVos Children's Hospital allows us to:

• Support current projects and begin new projects
• Provide hard-to-support programs with additional funding 
• Build resources to prepare for future needs and opportunities, including endowed fellowships and clinical positions 
• Innovate through research

Creating an endowment is an act of trust and is an expression of belief in the mission and vision of our hospitals. You can contribute a gift of any amount to an established endowment or create a named endowed fund that supports specific programs or clinical areas that are meaningful to you. Endowment funds have required minimums to establish. Foundation staff is available to connect with you to answer questions and discuss what would be most meaningful to your philanthropy.

When you initiate a named endowed fund, you will also be invited into the Art of Giving Society. This society comprises of donors who have established an endowment or a planned gift.
