Last year, nearly 8,300 donors gave to support life-saving and life-changing initiatives at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan. Thanks to their incredible generosity, more than $34.8 million was raised to support programs across the health system, in heart and vascular, pediatrics, cancer care, community health and more. We are grateful for every gift and the difference our donors have made.

Nationally recognized hospitals
Six of the top 10 hospitals in Michigan are Corewell Health hospitals, including our William Beaumont University Hospital (#2), our Troy hospital (#6), our Dearborn hospital (#7 tied) and our Grosse Pointe hospital (#10 tied), according to U.S. News and World Report. Across the system, Corewell Health hospitals earned 97 high-performing ratings for adult procedures and conditions.

Nursing excellence
Corewell Health has the most Magnet-designated hospitals in the state, including seven hospitals in Southeast Michigan. Magnet is the highest international distinction for nursing excellence.
Quality and safety
Seven Corewell Health hospitals received A ratings from The Leapfrog Group, including Grosse Pointe and Trenton, and two received B ratings, including Troy. No health system with hospitals in Michigan had more A ratings than Corewell Health.
Fundraising highlights
Blanck invests in future of health care
Stuart Blanck has made a $20 million commitment to support the new care center currently under construction in Royal Oak in honor of his parents Lorraine and Martin Blanck.
Kosch gifts support pediatric care
Longtime donors Don and Mary Kosch gave gifts totaling $7 million to Corewell Health Children's to support the establishment of the Donald Kosch Pediatric Emergency Center at Corewell Health Dearborn Hospital and the Center for Exceptional Families endowment fund.
Andersons invest in advanced patient care
Jim and Patti Anderson gave $6 million to create a vascular interventional radiology lab, invest in surgical equipment and technology, and support advanced surgical training at Corewell Health Beaumont Grosse Pointe Hospital.
State grants support teen health
More than $4.9 million in grants were awarded by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services to support Corewell Health teen health centers in Southeast Michigan, providing valuable medical and behavioral health services to thousands of you.
