Our Healthier Communities team works hard to ensure everyone has the opportunity to live their healthiest life.
These efforts look different in different neighborhoods, because not every community has the same barriers to health. In some places, a class about how to manage diabetes might be the biggest help to the community. In others, events that strengthen people’s sense of belonging might have a bigger impact on health.
We take a lot of care in creating programs that actually close gaps and make a positive difference. And we’re committed to continuing this work, updating our approach as our communities change.

Our programs promote overall well-being — from classes addressing specific health concerns to physical fitness, nutrition, yoga, and mindfulness.
In addition to classes, we also sponsor, host, and collaborate on activities that positively impact community health, from book vending machines for students to mental health services for veterans.

Racism should never be a barrier to good health. Learn how we're working to eliminate systemic racism in our organization and in the communities we serve.
Every three years, we get together with other health organizations to understand our communities’ health needs and help make plans for the future.
