This walking support group is for anyone who is working toward achieving and/or maintaining a healthier lifestyle. Come to walk and discuss challenges and strategies related to healthy eating, weight management, wellness, and handling stress, while getting your steps in for the day! This group is led by a registered dietitian.

Join our registered dietitian in the kitchen, making easy, healthy recipes. In each class, you will get to sample the food and learn about nutrition. Depending on class size, you will get to take home some ingredients to make at home and participate hands-on. Classes are held monthly at Community Action House in Holland and are free to community members.

Participants should register at least 10 days in advance to receive the workbook in time for class.

We offer a number of car seat safety check events throughout the year. All car seat inspections are free, and a limited number of low-cost replacement car seats are available at all locations for those who qualify. Children who need a replacement seat must be present with a parent or legal guardian.

Designed to prepare students to be safe when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. The instructor-led class is filled with fun games and role-playing exercises. Students even get to use manikins to practice rescue skills like choking rescue and CPR! Recommended for 11 years old and up. Class fee includes a safe sitter kit.

Virtual quit 101 cessation classes are free, four-week sessions. Classes are led by a certified tobacco treatment specialist and former smoker.
