Below is a list of available in-person and virtual events and programs offered through our department. We have classes to support overall lifestyle behaviors and health, including cooking classes, nutrition education, exercise education, and more.
Cooking for health
Five sessions
Patients learn how a nutritious diet can prevent or reverse obesity, diabetes, and high blood pressure. This program includes hands-on cooking, appointments, and group coaching with a registered dietitian.
Developed for patients seeking to improve their diabetes condition, or even put it into remission, this program teaches the root cause of insulin resistance and includes optional visits by a registered dietitian and/or chef-led classes.
Featuring hands-on cooking classes led by a registered dietitian and chef, this program is designed for those seeking to improve their overall gut health or address diseases like irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or Crohn’s.
Corewell Health Lifestyle Medicine and Nudj Health provide you both in-person and virtual options through our risk reduction program, designed to help you feel better and stay on track.
We are pleased to offer tobacco and nicotine treatment services at no cost to patients and the community. Programs are available for all stages of readiness and on an ongoing basis. All sessions are virtual.
