Childhood Behavioral Interventions

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a scientifically proven treatment approach designed to teach skills such as functional communication, self-help, play, and social interactions. ABA can also be used to help kids modify their behavior and decrease or eliminate aggression, self-injury, and other unwanted actions. Therapists help children and adolescents learn and teach caregivers how to apply their child's treatment plan.

Early support services

Age-appropriate therapeutic services and family support for children aged 18 months to 4 years who are awaiting evaluation or more intensive ABA therapy.

Focused ABA services

Targeted support for children aged 2 to 18, often with mild (level 1) autism spectrum disorder. Parent education and training are also emphasized.

Intensive ABA services

One-on-one therapy, 15 hours per week, for children ages 2 to 7 with significant development delays or mild to moderate autism spectrum disorder (ASD). This comprehensive treatment program helps children gain skills in all development areas and often includes collaboration with your child's school.

Our pediatric counselors use a variety of scientifically supported methods to increase positive interactions, improve feeding, toileting and sleep challenges, teach effective parenting practices, reduce anxiety and depression symptoms, and reduce problem behaviors. Therapists create a treatment plan with specific goals that will be monitored and can be updated as therapy progresses.

Behavioral consultations

Psychologists meet individually with you to provide guidance on how to handle your child’s specific behavior concerns and challenges.

Focused behavior therapy

Evidence-based therapies help kids and parents address a range of behavioral challenges, including toilet training delays, behavioral feeding challenges, behavioral sleep difficulties, and more.

Safety care for families

Our experts teach you practical skills to help you better prevent and manage any behavioral outbursts.

Group therapy sessions allow kids to develop social interaction skills and self-confidence in a structured setting. Kids engage in age-appropriate activities that highlight problem solving, conversation, understanding emotions and body language, taking turns, and more. Social skills groups are available on a limited basis for children between 6 and 17 years old.
