Guest Expectations and Guidelines

While we’re glad to offer a comfortable space in our hospitality rooms, medical care is not provided, and access to care is not available for guests. All guests acknowledge they are capable of functioning 100% on their own during their stay. If an emergency arises, please call 911 immediately. Please also notify the front desk at 616.391.1790 so we can be aware and assist emergency responders upon arrival.

The following violate Corewell Health and Renucci Hospitality House policies and will result in immediate guest check-out:

  • Smoking or vaping in/on property
  • Burning of candles and/or incense
  • Use of alcohol
  • Use of illegal substances/drugs, including marijuana
  • Animals/pets are not allowed in/on the premises (exception: service animals), including leaving animals in vehicles
  • Theft of another guest’s property or hospital property
  • Use of bleach
  • Use of hair dye
  • Destruction of hospital property
  • Disorderly conduct, fighting, or physical assault on hospital property
  • Verbal threat of physical harm to other guests or team members
  • Possession of a weapon or other unauthorized, dangerous materials
  • Leaving children unattended, children under the age of 18 must be supervised at all times

To ensure every guest feels safe, supported, and at home, we kindly ask all who stay with us to follow these guidelines:

  • Respect for others: Please be considerate of fellow guests, patients, and team members
  • Quiet hours: Quiet hours are observed from 9 pm to 6 am to allow for rest and recovery
  • Cleanliness: Guests are responsible for keeping their room tidy and for cleaning up after themselves in shared spaces such as the kitchen, living, and laundry spaces
  • Health and safety: For the well-being of all, smoking, vaping, alcohol, and drug use are not permitted on the property

Check in and check out: Guests are asked to check in/out at the designated times to allow us to prepare rooms for incoming families.
