Inpatient services follow a decentralized, multidisciplinary model, with clinical pharmacy specialists and teams specialists integrated into many patient care areas and teaching environments across specialties.

Primary care pharmacy services are provided by pharmacists with collaborative practice agreements, providing integrated support to 38 clinics in and around Grand Rapids.

Our diversity, equity and inclusion team focuses on five key areas to eliminate health disparities and better reflect the communities we serve: cultural competence, equity of care, workforce diversity, community engagement, and supplier diversity. Team members engage in ongoing education to deepen understanding and drive action toward health equity.

The pharmacy team at Corewell Health Grand Rapids Hospitals has been providing ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency training since 1998. We currently offer PGY1 pharmacy practice and several PGY2 specialty pharmacy residences that include ambulatory care, critical care, oncology, and pediatrics.
