Our maternal fetal medicine specialists offer consultations and comprehensive studies to pregnant women with high-risk diagnoses and obstetric concerns, and serve the community with pre-pregnancy counseling through delivery.
Our office treats a wide range of medical conditions, including but not limited to: cardiac, autoimmune, renal disease, diabetes, hypertension, and seizure disorder. Other obstetric issues treated include advanced maternal age, abnormal multiple marker screening, and multiple gestations.
We employ compassionate and friendly OB ultrasonographers who receive extensive training to perform complete and thorough ultrasounds on your baby. We also offer non-stress testing (NST) and prenatal education with our high-risk OB-trained nurses.
We also offer consultation appointments with a genetic counselor. Reproductive genetics focuses on reproductive and some fertility issues that can affect families, such as genetic and chromosomal abnormalities that can increase risks to biological children, a family history of genetic abnormalities, reproductive loss, multiple miscarriages, or an abnormal finding on an ultrasound.
A dietitian is available to consult with you for nutrition needs you may need during your pregnancy. The most common reasons to see a dietitian are existing diabetes, new diagnosis of gestational diabetes, or inadequate maternal weight gain. Patients may choose to park in the south parking structure free of charge or use valet service at the hospital's main entrance (Fitzgerald Pavilion).
