With the help of United Way and the Michigan Department of Community Health, Corewell repurposed and renovated the space in the administrative wing of the high school to house an inclusive health center that fuses general medical services with health education, mental health and counseling.
The following services are offered: peer education programs related to nutrition, fitness, substance abuse
violence, STDs and pregnancy prevention, HIV/AIDS prevention and risk reduction, crisis intervention, individual and family counseling, anger management groups, first-time and early juvenile offender diversion program, prevention of violence and obesity.
