The Center for Child Protection (CCP) at Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital was founded in 1993. The team’s vision is to establish a standard of care for victims of child abuse and neglect that protects the health, safety, and welfare of all children. Staff members are available around the clock for telephone consultation with Medical Providers, Children’s Protective Services (CPS) caseworkers and Law Enforcement. The CCP is a multidisciplinary, medical consultation team.
