The program offers broad and comprehensive Med-Peds training in a supportive environment, and I especially appreciated the down-to-earth, knowledgeable, and caring residents and faculty.
Clinical Interests: My interests include preventive medicine, mental health, and whole person approaches to chronic disease and chronic pain. I am particularly interested in helping patients understand how factors such as nutrition, physical activity, sleep, stress, and mindset can influence their physical and emotional well-being, and empowering them to make sustainable changes alongside appropriate medical treatment.
Hobbies: Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, taking long walks on nature trails, and working on hands-on projects with my kids. I also enjoy learning about and cultivating trees, particularly Japanese maples and bonsai, and experimenting with propagating and growing them.

What excites you about your residency at Corewell Health? I chose Corewell Health East William Beaumont University Hospital because of its outstanding people and exceptional training opportunities. Our Med-Peds core faculty are incredibly supportive, passionate educators who are genuinely invested in helping residents achieve their personal and professional goals. With the largest hospital by bed count in Michigan and a diverse patient population, the breadth of clinical experience is second to none. I was also drawn to the opportunity to learn from faculty in both academic and private practice settings, providing valuable insight into different career paths, including outpatient practice ownership. Finally, Corewell offers abundant opportunities for clinical research, allowing me to continue growing as both a clinician and scholar.

What excites you about your residency at Corewell Health? I chose Corewell Health East William Beaumont University Hospital because of its outstanding people and exceptional training opportunities. Our Med-Peds core faculty are incredibly supportive, passionate educators who are genuinely invested in helping residents achieve their personal and professional goals. With the largest hospital by bed count in Michigan and a diverse patient population, the breadth of clinical experience is second to none. I was also drawn to the opportunity to learn from faculty in both academic and private practice settings, providing valuable insight into different career paths, including outpatient practice ownership. Finally, Corewell offers abundant opportunities for clinical research, allowing me to continue growing as both a clinician and scholar.
