Sonal Kaushik, DO

Dr. Kaushik was raised in British Columbia, Canada, where she also completed her undergraduate education. She moved to Michigan to attend Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine, earning her medical degree before completing her General Surgery residency at Detroit Medical Center Sinai-Grace Hospital. During her final year of training, she served as the Chief Administrative Resident. Outside of medicine, Dr. Kaushik recently welcomed a beautiful baby girl into her family. She enjoys spending time with her daughter, her husband, and their very spoiled pet cat.

She completed her general surgery residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital and also a surgical critical care fellowship at the University of Michigan. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, son, and two dogs.
