Scope of Service

The Program provides didactic and clinical experiences covering the full spectrum of vascular/interventional radiology. Both vascular and non-vascular interventional procedures are included in the training program.

Experience is gained in vascular procedures including

• diagnostic arteriography
• vascular angioplasty/stenting
• endovascular stent grafts
• embolotherapy
• transcatheter infusion therapy
• IVC filters
• venous access

Non-vascular procedures include

• percutaneous imaging-guided biopsy and drainage
• percutaneous gastrostomy
• percutaneous nephrostomy and ureteral stenting
• percutaneous transhepatic biliary procedures
