Pharmacy residents receive benefits due to all full-time, non-union, exempt employee status. Those benefits include:

- The approximate PGY1 salary is $58,700/year
- Paid time off (PTO):
- Annual accrual of 216 hours per year based on an exempt employee status
- Residents are allowed to use PTO during the year
- No more than 1 days per rotation block upon approval
- PTO cannot be used for required staffing shifts
- Remainder PTO hours will be paid off at termination if employed for one year
- Longitudinal project days
- in addition to research month, a one project day is granted per rotation block
- Reimbursement
- Approved travel to conferences is at the discretion of the organization. Previously attended conferences included ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting and a regional pharmacy residency conference. If travel is approved, paid expenses (hotel, registration, meals, transportation) will typically be approved up to $3,000 annually. If total expenses are expected to exceed $3,000, approval will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
